Free speech isn't speech without consequence. But that doesn't mean that we should all openly tolerate intolerance. And of course I like humor and free speech, you've seen my god damn videos. If you really think that advocating for trans rights and fairer more equal world, both socially and economically, equates to white genocide, then you REALLY need to quit huffing sargons and taking that conservadick. But I hope you get a general idea of how I work now, at least!īitch I ain't bowing down shit. And of course a 10 minute review won't take me 3 days to edit, and those MGS Retrospective video can easily take me a day or two more. I can spend one day finishing off the script for one video, and the next playing through a game for another. But like I said, I work on multiple videos at once. So yeah, imma say like a week or so, not including me actually playing the game. Don't really fuck with the "just b-roll" vibes. One day to do the opening bit and most of the audio (the first couple of minutes usually have more elaborate edits like skits which take a while (and yeah I tend to do all audio first)) another day for the rest of the audio and more complicated edits, and then a 3rd day for me too lay down all of the gameplay footage and stuff, which'll literally take me all day as well, as I'm quite particular about what I show and why I'm showing it. And then editing, generally takes 3 days.

But I never do that on the same day as when I finished writing, as it's a weirdly draining thing to do, so I need to be a bit more high energy. At that point it's ready for voice over, which usually takes me about an hour. After I'm done playing though, I can figure out the general structure of a video in about a day, and then I'll finish the script a day or so after (proof reading, fixing typos, making sure the sentences flow well & that I dont reuse certain words too often), which usually takes about 3 to 4 hours depending on how long the video is. So how long it takes for me to write a script depends on how long the game is, usually.

Just anything I think of while playing, I write down, and figure out how to better say that and where, after the fact. I also write most of the script while playing the game. Like, I can get a few ideas, write them down, and then not come back to the potential script for weeks. It's even kinda hard to say when a project really "starts". It's hard for me to say really, as I tend to work on multiple projects at once. shit has this really rustic old hiphop type of sound to it. Lately ive been messing around a lot with the drum sounds of the sp1200. i did for the album 3th heaven, because the idea behind that project was that i wanted to do more with certain songs i loved then just passively consume them. the zero-g datafiles, some of spectrasonic's stuff, and a korg wavestation (which i use in most songs ive done ever tbh i really dig that thing), stuff like that.īut then for other albums i've used all kinds of stuff like video game sound fonts, the shittiest cheapest vsts i can find, and even the default instruments that come with fl studio.Īs far as sampling from actual songs, i dont really tend to do that a whole lot. i really wanted to go for that typical sound of electronic music (and per extension some video game soundtracks) of the time. positive yellow was made only with vst synths and sample packs use in the 90s.

Fl studio 10, and it really depends on the song or the album.
